At ITVORX, we focus on results, not whether employees are wearing dress shoes or e-mailing from Central Park. Welcome to the brave new world of results-based management which fosters entrepreneurship. At ITVORX, we say no to micromanaging and control. Its Teamwork all the way.
We embraced this managing style from learning the fact that most people work only around 1.5 hours a day out of the eight hours they typically spend in the office. So we let our employees to set their own hours and work from any site they please - so long as they deliver and stay in touch with the clients.
This management style encourages our employees to maximize their results, without being stifled by management. This sort of management by Dennis Ceru, an adjunct professor of entrepreneurship at Babson College is termed as "extreme entrepreneurship". We see this decentralized management style as a way of competing in a global economy. We must compete with tech firms that offer services at lower costs. If we can encourage a staff member to work eight full hours, rather than 1.5 hours out of the day, we will have lower net costs. That's a competitive edge.
